Different landscapes, different weeks
A celebration can move through different settings without losing the sense of one shared stay. Each geography below is a way of spending those days — not a catalogue of venues.
Lake Como
On Lake Como, a wedding does not simply happen beside the water. It moves with it. Historic villas and gardens reach the lake. Villages sit across the water. Guests can leave a hotel garden by boat, reach a ceremony along another shore, and come back after dinner with the water still under them.
That beauty has a consequence: which shore people sleep on, how events connect, and whether the programme can absorb a crossing. Hotels can concentrate a list along a relatively short shoreline; a villa can hold a private chapter without holding every bedroom. Production still arrives by land.

Tuscany
Most guests already know what Tuscany looks like. Living it for several days is different from looking at the view. A villa, an estate or a borgo can hold a family in the landscape rather than receive them for an afternoon. Meals, mornings and the quieter hours between events can belong to the same trees.
Then the questions become honest: whether the house can sleep the people who have flown, how far the next event sits, whether kitchens and indoor rooms can support specialist catering and a change in weather. If the estate cannot hold everyone, the week becomes a transfer schedule.

Venice
Guests arrive by water. Venice changes what close means: two palazzi can share a canal and still ask the wedding to cross twice. A courtyard, an island or a lagoon view is not a backdrop. It is how the week begins.
Luggage, walking, and whether dinner ends in the same house or on a return across dark water decide the shape of the celebration — without treating the city as a coach-accessible resort.

Puglia
In Puglia, a wedding can feel like living inside the landscape for a few days: white stone, olive trees, a courtyard that holds lunch and later the evening. A masseria can be more than the ceremony address. Near Savelletri the Adriatic is close; inland around Ostuni the week turns toward groves and a white town; Salento is farther south. The sea can be a visit, not the stay.
Then: whether the house can hold those days under the same trees, or whether the list spills into the white towns; how production reaches a courtyard; how a coast day sits beside a countryside night.

Amalfi Coast
The Amalfi Coast is a cliff with towns built into it. A few kilometres change the height of the week. Ravello looks at the water from above. Amalfi is the harbour. Positano is stacked so tightly the wedding is inside the coast. Other stretches change the relationship with the sea again.
That vertical geography is why guest movement, luggage and event sequence cannot be planned as a flat road. A house that rewards a smaller or more patient group can still hold an unforgettable week; a large multi-day programme has to choose a town and remain there.

Dolomites
In the Dolomites, the wedding is at altitude. A day can begin in a hotel, climb through forest and rock, reach a rifugio or a high plateau, and come down to the valley for the night. Cortina is a mountain town; Alta Badia is quieter villages; a plateau changes the hour it takes to arrive.
A rifugio is not a ballroom at altitude. A lift is not simply transportation. Where guests sleep, how higher settings are reached, and what remains if weather turns the mountain off, are the same celebration — not a scenic extra.

Rome
Rome is often a first night: international arrivals, historic rooms, a city that can hold guests before they move to countryside or coast. It can also be a ceremony address when the brief asks for it.
Sicily
Sicily is island logistics: airports, longer stays, a different register of landscape. It works when the wedding is allowed more than a single night.
Piedmont
Piedmont is not one landscape: Turin and the Savoy residences, vineyard hills, Lake Maggiore and the smaller measure of Orta. Guests usually arrive through Turin or Milan. The week holds when it chooses one of those geographies rather than collecting the region.
